We’re getting a bit spoiled with these back-to-back holidays. 🫶🏻 This Thursday also happens to be my birthday, which may or may not be why this newsletter took a little longer to land. But here we go, just in time, with a weekend full of good reasons to leave the house.
Florentina Holzinger returns to Volksbühne with “A Year Without Summer.” At Deutsches Theater, Christopher Rüping presents two gripping pieces back-to-back: “It Is Only the End of the World” and “Crave.”
Meanwhile, open-air season is in full swing, with lakeside marathons, ambient sleepovers, and a few hypnotic dance floors tucked into unusual places.
And for those with guitars in their hearts: our most rock’n’roll friend in Berlin just launched Rock Tips Berlin, a fresh guide focused entirely on the city’s rock scene.
