It feels like summer has finally come for a weekend, and Berlin isn’t wasting a second. With temperatures hitting 31º on Sunday, it’s a good time to leave the grey behind and spend a few hours by the lake.
But the city’s calling too: the 13th Berlin Biennale opens across four venues, Dokumentale brings 10 days of radical cinema and rooftop talks, and Peaches herself joins a screening of Teaches of Peaches for a live conversation.
If you haven’t seen Orlando at the Schaubühne, this week might be your last chance - Katie Mitchell’s take is sharp, fluid, and unforgettable.
Music-wise, the weekend’s rich: Climate x Sustain-Release brings Aurora Halal and friends for a 24-hour dance at Backsteinboot, Moodymann lands at OST while Laurel Halo plays Tresor, and indie legends Primal Scream and Cat Power remind us why their songs still echo.
No need to rush, pick a rhythm, bring water, and let the city unfold.

In her biography of Orlando, Virginia Woolf describes a life that undermines every rigid category with ease and artistic freedom, imbuing them with new meaning or presenting them as fluid.
