Hi there! This weekend in Berlin feels like one long invitation: to wander, to listen, to dance, to just show up.
Our music picks lean into the experimental: KONTAKTE 2025, Lyra Pramuk, and Contagious with Mariá Portugal. For slow listening and softer edges, there’s FLORA Festival in Treptower Park and AETHER at MaHalla. And we’ll stop by Unkompress for Teshi’s Fine Hour new edition.
We’re curious about Pain Management at OHM and swing by Breakhaus, where Femme Bass Mafia meets ọ́kụ́. There’s also Theo Parrish playing an 8-hour set - but it’s waitlist only.
On stage, it's a unique chance to catch Four Walls and a Roof and Confronting the Shadow from Performing Exiles, as well as Savage, the solo performance by Brazilian actor Felipe Haiut.
For visual art, the highlight is 48 Stunden Neukölln. I love starting at the opening on Friday and letting Neukölln guide me through studios, streets, and whatever else shows up.
I’ll be at the Shared Table Dinner on Thursday. And if you’re up for something slower or stranger: there’s the sensory forest walk Parallax Encounters, and our beloved Arraiá da Bossa, with feijoada, pamonha, and dance.
We’re going IRL. On July 17, The Next Day Berlin joins forces with 20% Berlin for a summer gathering at Berliner Berg. Join us, we’d really love to meet you!
