She specializes in the exploration of low-frequency sound, the relationship between sound and the human body, and the use of subwoofers. Stefanie creates sonic experiences ranging from installations to live performances.
Stefanie has showcased her work across Europe and the United States, including notable venues such as the CTM Festival, Berghain, Tresor, KW Institute, and The Highline (NYC). To catch one of her upcoming performances, you can check her schedule here.
In Berlin, Stefanie enjoys spending time at "Material," a cafe and wine bar located in Prenzlauer Berg. The bar offers an excellent selection of natural wines, non-alcoholic cocktails, and yummy food.
Stefanie enjoys visiting Wassertum, a peaceful park in Prenzlauer Berg, to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. When she craves a deeper connection with nature, she heads to Treptower Park, where she can lose herself in the forested surroundings.
If you're interested in art and sound exhibitions, Stefanie recommends checking out "Soundshapes – In Between Frequencies." This unique exhibit activates the entrances of Gropius Bau with sound installations by Kapwani Kiwanga and Janine Jembere.
