Hello,
Summer has ended, and autumn is always perfect for heating up the dance floor. The weekend starts off well with the "weeeirdos" party with Parrish Smith and Ellen Allien DJing at Berghain/Säule. However, we're also heading to the Sushitech Records Party and Pornceptual this weekend. If we have some spare energy left, we'll be dancing at Fandango on Sunday.
With plenty of shows and a bit of a tight budget, this weekend's lineup is truly eye-catching. Patti Smith is gracing the lovely stage at Pierre Boulez Saal – it doesn't get more intimate than that. Also, there's a curiosity to catch Mitski's acoustic and intimate performance. And Archive is a nostalgic time-travel journey that's a must-see. You also have Tehran Contemporary Sounds to explore sounds from Iran.
For performing arts, indulge in collective euphoria with She She Pop's "High" under a mysterious banner. Experience Steven Cohen's moving tribute to his late partner “Put your heart under your feet... and walk!”
For those looking for exhibitions, we highlight the Berlin-based artist Young-jun Tak's recent films, explore Ioana Nemeș's thought-provoking works at Between Bridges, and don’t miss the beautiful Fatma Shanan's self-portrait oil paintings.
Having returned from Brazil late Monday night, there wasn't enough time to bring a guest to share the special selection we cherish. However, we'll be back with our column next week. 😬
