This weekend is perfect for those who love experimental music, which transcends genres. Everything appears unmissable. We highlight the electronic music producer Moritz von Oswald presenting 'Silencio' in the beautiful St. Thomas Kirche, the fresh music by Genesis Owusu, and the debut of Juliana Huxtableâs band 'Tongue in the Mind.' FOMO is in full swing around here right now.
Three music festivals with distinct approaches are taking place this week. MW: M Live is perfect for those keen on discovering new bands. If you want to immerse yourself in Latin American sounds, don't miss Juçara Marçal at the Radical Sounds LA opening. For synth enthusiasts, the go-to is the Handcrafted Tributes Festival.
Friday is bustling with options for those who want to party. We're torn between 'Basic Spirits' with Tornado Wallace and 'Your Love' at Panorama Bar. However, our warm-up will be with our rock 'n' roll friend DJ Plastic Penny.
If you just want to enjoy some time in the theater, we recommend two shows: 'Drama' by Constanza Macras and 'The Silence' by Falk Richter.
For this edition, we invited the actor Pierre Emö, who shared his favorite spots in Berlin, including the hidden gem cinema Durchsfenster. Don't miss the opportunity to see Emö in action in 'The Sultry Bitch Theory'.

Juliana Huxtable presents Tongue in the Mind

Was anderes machen (The Home and the Movie): 60 years of Das kleine Fernsehspiel

Described as creating "cinema that no longer exists and television that does not yet exist," it championed auteur cinema and addressed current issues. The event, "Was anderes machen" (The Home and the Movie), uses the TV archive for a historical retrospective, discussing the state and future of young auteur film. The exhibition and program unite television and film culture heritage, featuring works by directors from Fassbinder to contemporary talents like Maryam Zaree and Burhan Qurbani.
Philip Grözinger & Stefan Rinck: âDie Handtasche muss lebendig sein!â

This exhibition unites Philip Grözinger's vibrant paintings of imaginary realms with Rinck's humorous stone sculptures. This inaugural collaboration showcases unique works, like the joint piece 'Lonely Tunes,' marking the first joint exhibition by Stefan Rinck and Philip Grözinger.
Sirani: Thirteen Contemporary Painters and an Arresting Baroque Masterpiece

Elisabetta Sirani (1638-1665) defied the male-dominated art world, leaving 200 paintings and establishing Europe's first women's art academy. A contemporary exhibition honors her groundbreaking role in challenging gender norms in 17th-century art.

"Måquina do desejo, os 60 Anos do Teatro Oficina" created from audiovisual archive material from the Associação Teatro Oficina Uzyna Uzona (Brazil). The film tells the story of the theatre and discusses the different casts of the ensemble, which, as a focal point of resistance and re-existence, makes the freedom of creation an irreversible achievement. This film is part of the 18.Cine Brasil Festival.

Every day has its own film. Itâs not possible to share the address. Someone has to take you, and you should not spread the address, you should take someone there in return.Â
