The Next Day #29: Berlin Weekend Guide
Your weekend guide Berlin with some of the best events from 7th until 10th December.
Hello!
No more talk about cold and snow because creating this guide has started to give us FOMO for all the great things happening in Berlin this December. We've tried to curate the best of what we'd love to attend (and some events we will).
Shows for all tastes and budgets. Highlights include Gloria Oliveira & Dean Hurley, Ana Roxanne, and The Temple of Faitiche & Muscut night. Don't miss yeule if you're into the new generation of music.
The dancefloor is buzzing, with many regular Berlin parties hosting their last events of the year. Berghain celebrates its 19th anniversary with a stellar lineup at Klubnatch. If you love cassettes, make sure to stop by Invisible Generator, and for synth lovers, the dancefloor is Worn Pop.
This weekend is sure to be a treat with one of our favorite dance companies, Cia. Toulas Limnaios, presenting their new play "Les Egares." For those seeking theater, we highlight "aerocircus" by RambaZamba and "ANGELA (a strange loop)" by Susanne Kennedy.
Let's celebrate! A new art gallery is opening in town with a collective exhibition called "Bodies" at Into.Gallery. For movie lovers, there is "The Big Screen: Film Posters of All Time".
There are some special food events, but our eyes are on the brunch by Tinman with Estelle. We've also selected three different markets for you to ensure Christmas gifts.
This weekend we have a special and mysterious guest, Sofia B., from the 'Fast jeden Sonntag' newsletter.
If you enjoy The Next Day Berlin, consider sharing with friends and buying us a Glühwein.

Lalai invites Sofia B.
Sofia B. is an author and physician living in Berlin. She writes the newsletter
about medicine, feminism, politics and the occasional dash of literature. Her recommendations span between bookshops and pit stops, allowing you to enjoy some nice baked goods:
"Shakespeare and Sons is an English-language bookstore in Friedrichshain with a café, where you can find some of the best bagels in Berlin! For dessert, you can stop by Brammibal's next door for vegan donuts.
Hundt Hammer Stein is a small, well-curated bookstore in Mitte with a good English-language section, and round & edgy has amazing vegan cookies.
Of course, you've heard of Dussmann and its huge English bookshop, but did you know that Ooh Cookies is the best addition to a new book?
And if, after making so many book decisions, you need a drink, then I can wholeheartedly recommend the Basalt Bar in Wedding with its seasonally changing cocktail menu (also perfect for first dates! <3)"
