This weekend is packed with events for fans of adventurous music. One highlight is the trio Gabby Fluke-Mogul, Mariá Portugal, and Fred Frith celebrating exploratorium berlin's anniversary. Don’t miss the live shows with Actress and Blawan at silent green happening on the same day—choosing between them will be tough.
Mitski’s concert is sold out, but it’s worth trying the waiting list. The Toy Tonics party is always a top choice for us when we want to dance all night long. Polifonic Showcase at Else features DJ Lena Willikens, another weekend highlight.
Both MONOM and Reethaus are hosting listening sessions. Reethaus is free, but tickets are limited.
For performances, we recommend "To Take Arms Against a Sea of Troubles" at Schaubühne and the sound performance at U-Bahn Station Alt-Tempelhof with Ricardo Carioba and Tiago Tebet.
It’s your last chance to see "Poetics of Encryption" at KW, ending with a courtyard party. The Neue Nationalgalerie is hosting a micro-food festival with music, and you can visit the exhibitions for free.

Power Loom #19: JD Zazie and Patiño

A night for fans of experimental music and sound art. 🎧 JD Zazie, an avant-turntablist and sound artist, explores real-time manipulation of recorded sound. Rubén Patiño blends electronic music with club culture and contemporary art.
Mitski

One of indie rock’s most ambitious songwriters, Mitski, goes deeper with 🎧 'The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We.' Compared to her previous works, this album is warmer, quieter, and more organic sounding.

Gear(s) & Glass (Album premiere)

French artist Jeanne Briand and Franco-Italian producer Romain Azzaro launch their second album, Gear(s), with a spatial sound experience in collaboration with Monom. Open Haus: Behind Her Name Chestnuts Fall Forever

"Behind Her Name Chestnuts Fall Forever" by Sofie Birch, inspired by Franco Battiato and other avant-garde figures, debuts with lush ambient sounds. Recorded with unique mic setups, it blends piano, synths, and vocals, creating a dreamlike soundscape. Besides the experience, Reethaus is a space that's worth a visit.

Songs of Oh and Woe

Jeremy Wade in Concert with Bráulio Bandeira. The evening explores the rich traditions of folk music and queer oral histories, pushing the boundaries of dance music into the realms of noise, ambiance, and field recordings.
To take arms against a sea of troubles

In a project that brings together two actors from Kyiv and an actor from the Schaubühne, Stas Zhyrkov, artistic director of the Left Bank Theatre, Kyiv, and Pavlo Arie, dramaturg and writer, explore the cost of war for an artist.
Josephine Pryde: How Frequency the Eye

Boji: CHASING, CHASING, CHASING, CHASING

The performance reflects on pursuing an unknown future and processing personal traumas of loss. Inspired by a childhood memory of a canary flying away, Boji mixes field recordings, dance music, and raw vocals, showcasing music from current and upcoming albums. #soundart
Hoda Tawakol: Roots

This exhibition will transform the museum's garden into a temporary pavilion, engaging with the unique sculpture garden through themes of plants and identity. Tawakol's work, featuring a recurring palm motif, explores heritage, femininity, and motherhood. Hoda Takawol will be present with an artist talk.
Poetics of Encryption: Finissage

En Plein Air

"En Plein Air" is a micro-food festival, featuring some of Berlin's best-looking and tasting drinks and culinary delights. In addition, the museum will also be celebrating the opening of the new sound art platform on the terrace, designed by artist Veit Laurent Kurz and architect Jens Rønholt Schmidt. Ellen Arkbro, Anne Imhof, and Naemi have contributed their sound art pieces for “Soundwaves Pt. 1”. Naemi will perform live at 7 PM.
