Here are our music highlights: Kalaf Palang at HKW or Ellen Allien heating things up at Berlin Beats in Hamburger Bahnhof on Thursday. If you love experimental music, a lot is happening: we recommend HJirok at HAU1, Black Communion at Morphine Raum, Media Loca at Silent Green, and Kiezsalon. We're a bit torn about which concert to see this weekend.

🎧 HJirok, a mythical character by Iranian-Kurdish artist Hani Mojtahedy and Andi Toma (Mouse on Mars), roams a soundscape with Sufi percussion, setar tracks from Kurdistan, and contemporary electronics. Yael Lavie’s “Temporal Soundscapes” blends her Kanun playing with electronics and drum machines, inspired by spiritual music, electronic, and experimental jazz.

"The Visitors" dives into the creepy world of Slasher movies, where teens face danger and death while adults are nowhere to be found. At the 48 Stunden Neukölln festival, explorations of urban silence are welcome: field recordings, experimental music, traditional expressions, compositions, installations, texts, theatre, poetry, pictures, and sculptures. Artists will creatively interpret and present the theme of urban silence. This festival is a good opportunity to explore new spaces in Neukölln.
