Hi,
Where to start? The weekend arrives with several festivals happening across the city. We highlight two: Heroines of Sound Festival at Radialsystem and Gaswerk Music Days featuring James Holden, The Heliocentrics, and Marina Herlop.
The Neue Nationalgalerie deserves praise for its current summer program. This Thursday, the museum presents the series Sound in the Garden. For partygoers, plenty of options, especially open-air: Actress at Berlin Beats, Italomania at Oxi, Boiler Room at RSO, and DJ Omoloko closing the weekend at Berghain. If you follow us on Instagram, you got free tickets for The Final Whistle Celebration with Jamie XX and Honey Dijon.
This weekend marks the end of the performing arts season in major Berlin theaters and opera houses as they enter their summer break. For opera lovers, there's Tristan and Isolde at the Deutsche Oper, or if you prefer Tennessee Williams, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof at the Deutsches Theater.
Our partners Blue Lobster, along with Art Maison Marios, present the exhibition "New Us - A Contemporary Wave" with a vernissage and DJs. Don't forget to RSVP. We'll be there on Friday to celebrate.
If you haven't had the chance, we highlight two exhibitions: The Winner by Marianna Simnett at Hamburger Bahnhof and the three new exhibitions at KW, including Luiz Roque.
