The Next Day #59: Berlin Weekend Guide
Must-Go Events in Berlin: July 18th to 21st. Cover Photo: Bia Ferreira by Pedro Barros.
Hi!
Ready for another weekend with 31 degrees? Here we go! Berlin is packed with open-air concerts and parties to help you beat the heat. 🔥
We're excited to go to Durchlüften at Humboldt Forum with its great musical lineup. If you enjoy cathartic moments, don’t miss Lia de Itamaracá on Saturday. Her concert is beautiful! We’re also looking forward to Air's new tour, making its second stop in Berlin this year.
We plan to dance with You Mean So Much at RSO, drop by Toy Tonics at ÆDEN, and end the weekend with Nicola Cruz and Vera at the Kimchi Records Party, which is always a great party.
Most theaters are on summer break, but we’re excited about the upcoming Tanz im August dance festival and theater plays in the coming months. A highlight to look forward to is a new production by Canadian theatermaker Robert Lepage. For the first time, Lepage will develop and stage a production with the Schaubühne ensemble. The play, titled "Glaube, Geld, Krieg und Liebe" (Faith, Money, War and Love), promises to be compelling. Tickets are already on sale for the world premiere, so don’t miss out!
We checked out the "Modigliani: Modern Gazes" exhibition at Museum Barberini and highly recommend it. This summer weather is perfect for a day in the charming neighboring city—it's definitely worth the trip to Potsdam.
The amazing project Floating University is facing funding challenges. They are hosting a Fundraiser Day event this Sunday, and we invite you to support them.
