Christian KERA Hinz: Pool Painting

On the deck of this barge, Christian KERA Hinz has installed a pool approximately ten by five meters in size, which consists of a tarpaulin stretched over a wooden frame. This ‘canvas’ has been hand-painted in a geometric pattern and then filled with water. As a result, the visible bottom of the pool, which is about ten centimeters deep, is altered by the water, changing the way we perceive the painting.
