Intersecting Encounters: Month of Contemporary Music

The “Intersecting Encounters” festival kicks off Contemporary Music Month, featuring Trio Dell-Lillinger-Westergaard, Sofia Jernberg, Sonar Quartet, Tamara Stefanovich, Trio Catch, and Zafraan Ensemble. Koachula presents Deslenguadas

Koaxula, by Natalia Escobar and Daniela Huerta, is a sound performance exploring the "Terrible Mother" archetype. Using sonic whips, they channel serpent deities' power, challenging oppressive histories, and reconnecting with transformative, primal forces in a journey through the underworld.

Sommerkonzert: TLF Trio, Poser by Reece Cox

This event features a unique musical and theatrical collaboration between the Danish experimental ensemble 🎧 TLF Trio and the project ‘Poser’ by Reece Cox. TLF Trio deconstructs classical music with minimalist, free-improv compositions, while Poser explores the concept of presence and non-presence in stage performances.

Fatigue by Viktor Szeri

Viktor Szeri performs alone on stage, exploring the limits of his own body. The slow-paced movements contrast with intense video sequences and pulsing music, reflecting the physical and psychological symptoms of burnout.

In the format of an entertainment show, set against a LED curtain, D’Agostin takes the audience on a journey that is both joyful and melancholic, sharing historical and personal anecdotes of unanswered letters, along with a medley of various songs, dances, and texts.

Ciao is a performative collage made up of texts and music developed collectively, revolving around topics such as solidarity, patriarchy, farewells, and new beginnings. It’s a performance about bidding farewell to toxic patriarchal structures and expectations.

Bugs & Friends Fest

Hajnal Németh: FREDOM TRAP - Performance in Two Versions

FREEDOM TRAP, in a so-called counter-concert format, musically interprets texts from two different sources: on the one hand, a selection of writings by Hungarian underground artist, writer, and film director Tibor Hajas (1946-80); and on the other hand, selected archival materials - extracted versions of intelligence and police reports on the artist’s professional environment, their exhibitions and performances.

ONSITE returns to the 130-year-old Herzberge psychiatric hospital and its beautiful park grounds. Sex: Jewish Positions

The exhibition plays with the differing perceptions of sexuality in Judaism. Modern and contemporary art, traditional artifacts, film, and new media illustrate a range of Jewish positions that have been discussed for centuries in the canon of rabbinic literature.

How to Use Your Video Eye: Express Yourself Through Videomaking (in English)
