Three great exhibitions are opening their doors, plus a tribute to David Lynch, samba, and the delicious Brazilian dish feijoada to wrap up the weekend.

Conni & Clyde by Meo Wulf

In three dramatic acts, the symbiotic relationship between a non-binary couple gets put to the test onstage. Oscillating between The Fifth Element and Harold and Maude, Christine Groß and Meo Wulf are plunging into love’s universe. A love: everlasting, fulfilled, happy – and very self-complacent.
Glitch Witch by Meg Stuart / Damaged Goods & Dance On Ensemble

In “Glitch Witch”, choreographer Meg Stuart, dancer Omagbitse Omagbemi, and composer/musician Mieko Suzuki meet in a sparklingly desolate, enigmatically burned-out landscape. Moving within and beyond the personal histories imprinted on their bodies, they glide and glitch between different possible worlds – between above and below, between the before and after of every passing moment.

In her biography of Orlando, Virginia Woolf describes a life that undermines every rigid category with ease and artistic freedom, imbuing them with new meaning or presenting them as fluid. She playfully interweaves life and art, reality and fiction. In a production combining performance on stage with live video.

Ull Hohn: Revisions

Ull Hohn’s works blur formal and political boundaries, questioning identity, nature, and sexuality. This exhibition revisits his late works, reflecting on his life and artistic journey through the lens of AIDS, politics, and personal growth.

A World in Common brings together 23 artists from Africa and its diaspora, rethinking global narratives. Silvia Rosi's Protektorat reflects on colonial legacies, while Sam Youkilis’s Under the Sun captures everyday beauty. From 9 p.m., DJ Nomi brings the party to life.
ROAD RUNNER: Cemile Sahin

Cemile Sahin’s new exhibition explores drones, digital disembodiment, and political oppression. It includes a film, AI-generated panels, and punching bags, reflecting on contemporary technology and its effects on our lives.

Blue Velvet Screening – A Tribute to David Lynch

This year’s ‘transmediale’ explores proximity and distance in our digital lives. Workshops at silent green lead into films, performances, and installations at HKW. Highlights include a running club workshop by Lindsey A.
